TIDES Institute!
To register with your credit card payment, you must Sign In to your AAC&U account. If you already have an existing account with AAC&U, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. If you do not currently have an account with AAC&U, follow the prompts to Create An Account.
The TIDES Institute registration fee includes: institute tuition and curriculum materials, extended access to an institution coach, on-site staff support, meals, breaks, and four nights of single-room accommodations at the
Lansdowne Resort and Conference Center.

By registering, you and your colleagues (if applicable) understand and agree to:
- Comply with TIDES Institute policies related to behavioral conduct, bullying, harassment, and COVID safety protocols (as appropriate).
- Allow your name, title, institution, and email address to be listed in the Institute program and made available to all registrants.
- Allow AAC&U photographers and/or videographers to capture your image within a session or during networking opportunities, and allow AAC&U permission to use your image and/or voice for promotional or informational materials only.
- Hold AAC&U harmless and indemnify AAC&U from all claims, loss or damage to my personal property, health, liabilities, and costs, including attorney’s fees, as a result of my participation at the Annual Meeting, including travel to and from the meeting.
- Keep knowledge, materials, and information about specific Institute participating institutions confidential.
Health & SafetyThe spread of communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, continues to impact our lives. AAC&U is committed to protecting the health and safety of all participants, presenters, and staff at the 2025 TIDES Institute. To that end, AAC&U works to align itself with the requirements set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); national, state, and local public health agencies; and the Lansdowne Resort and Spa. AAC&U retains its right to modify policies and procedures at any time.
AAC&U cannot guarantee that Institute attendees will not be exposed to, or contract, a communicable disease at any of its in-person events. However, please know that we will maintain rigorous preventative measures to reduce the likelihood of spread of communicable diseases while you are at the Institute. And we welcome you, our community of undergraduate STEM reformers, to join us in protecting the Institute space.
Pay Later PolicyAAC&U offers a "Pay Later" payment option that allows registrants to defer payment.
- This option secures a registration slot, but it is not guaranteed until payment is received in full.
- If payment is not received by April 24, 2025, the registration will be cancelled.
- Payment can be made via credit card, check, or ACH (electronic payment).
Cancellation and Refund PolicyCancellations must be requested on or prior to
March 20, 2025 by submitting a written request via email to
tides@aacu.org.
- A $750 per person processing fee will be deducted for all cancellations made on or prior to March 20, 2025. Please allow 5-7 business days after acknowledgment of your request for your refund to be processed.
- After March 20, 2025, no refunds will be made on any cancellations received.
You may transfer your registration to a colleague from the same institution at any time. To do so, the original registrant should submit a request via email to
tides@aacu.org indicating the names and email addresses of both the original and current registrants, institution name, and a brief explanation for the transfer.
