The Ohio PKAL Regional Network will host its ninth annual conference together with the Ohio Academy of Sciences (OAS) at Miami University. The conference theme is “Workforce development: Connecting college to careers through STEM education”. At this joint meeting, STEM students (graduate and undergraduate) and STEM professionals (faculty and staff) can present at a regional conference and network with scientists, engineers, educators, employers, and students across Ohio.

By registering, I agree to the following conditions:
- Comply with event policies related to behavioral conduct, bullying, harassment, and COVID safety protocols (as appropriate).
- Allow your name, title, institution, and email address to be listed in the meeting information such as the program and made available to all registrants.
- Allow AAC&U photographers and/or videographers to capture your image within a session or during networking opportunities, and allow AAC&U permission to use your image and/or voice for promotional or informational materials only.
- Hold AAC&U harmless and indemnify AAC&U from all claims, loss or damage to my personal property, health, liabilities, and costs, including attorney’s fees, as a result of my participation at the event, including travel to and from the meeting.
- Keep knowledge, materials, and information about specific participating institutions confidential.
- Refunds will be provided for cancellations received in writing or via email to registration@aacu.org by March 28, 2025.
- No refunds will be made on any cancellations received after March 28, 2025.
- Registrations are transferable within an institution at any time.
Pay Later Policy (not applicable after March 28, 2025)
AAC&U offers a "Pay Later" payment option that allows registrants to defer payment. This option secures a registration slot, but it is not guaranteed until payment is received in full.
If payment is not received 15 business days before the first day of the meeting, the registration will be cancelled. Payment can be made via credit card, check, or ACH (electronic payment).
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be requested by
March 28, 2025 by submitting a written request via email to registration@aacu.org.
A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for requests received after March 5 and before March 28, 2025. Please allow 5-7 business days after acknowledgement of your request for your refund to be processed. You may transfer your registration to a colleague from the same institution at any time. To do so, the original registrant should submit a request via email to registration@aacu.org.
